Puisín Beag an Diabhail
Is dísreach agus siblíní iad Éire Ní Fhaoláin agus Cú Chulainn Ó Faoláin le grá don amhránaíocht ar an sean-nós, don cheol traidisiúnta agus don fhilíocht. Tá an Ghaeilge ag croílár a gcuid ceoil agus is breá leo amhráin nua a chumadh le hinspioráid ó na hamhráin ar an sean-nós. Bíonn an ceol agus an fhilíocht á nascadh le chéile acu, spreagtha go mór ag leabhar filíochta nua Éire, ‘Puisín Beag an Diabhail’, a fhiosraíonn béaloideas na hÉireann a bhaineann leis an gcat dubh agus uimhir a naoi. Déanann an seó nua seo, ‘Puisín Beag an Diabhail’ forbairt ar an leabhar filíochta, áit a nascann Éire agus Cú Chulainn an ceol, an fhilíocht an amhránaíocht agus an béaloideas le chéile ar bhealach uathúil.
Éire Ní Fhaoláin agus Cú Chulainn Ó Faoláin are a sibling duo with a love of sean-nós singing, traditional music and poetry. An Ghaeilge is at the heart of their music and they love to compose new songs, inspired by their love of sean-nós songs. The duo combine music and poetry, heavily inspired by Éire’s new poetry book ‘Puisín Beag an Diabhail’, which explores the folklore of Ireland surrounding the black cat and the number nine. This new show, ‘Puisín Beag an Diabhail’ is an extension of the poetry book where Éire agus Cú Chulainn connect music, poetry, song and folklore together in a unique way.
